Introduction

Welcome! While I have been blogging "just for fun" for several years now, I wanted to "start over" and find a direction for my thoughts. I am not a very out spoken person to strangers, but I have a million thoughts traveling through my mind by the moment that I wish I could share in said moment. Thus, we have this little slice of the internet!

My name is Vicki. I am a 20-something, wife, LDS (aka Mormon), vet tech, dreamer, and hopefully-one-day-mommy. Here's a little bit about me:

I grew up in the beautiful state of Oregon and will always consider the Great Pacific Northwest my home. Currently, we are residing in God's country--as my father puts it--in the high desert of Utah. My husband is attending school to receive his degree in Civil Engineering while working at a local engineering firm. I have graduated from college and currently work in a general vet practice as a certified veterinary technician. We are both active and faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You will see religious, faithful posts from time to time because I absolutely love my faith and my Savior!

We have a golden retriever named Tucker which we affectionately refer to as "Pooch". He's the best hiking companion, water-loving, tennis ball obsessed, furry beast I could ever ask for. And he loves people!

A few random facts about me:

My husband and I met in college and were married a year later.
I'm obsessed with my family, including my in-laws. I try not to freak them out. ;)
I was just given a smart phone last year as a gift. I feel like I could still live without it.
I have dreams to learn the piano and guitar (which is happening VERY slowly).
I adore country music.
Autumn is my favorite season.
And my favorite thing to have on a hot summer day is strawberry lemonade and a sprinkler to run through!
